DUFFY CABLE
Pick up 3 sts of a 3 prong tool and hang them on 3 ndls. K 8 rws using your hand as weight. Pick up the next 3 sts and hang them on top of the first sts. Repeat until you are completely around the piece. To finish, K 8 rws of the last pick up and rehang on the first 3 st group Bind off.

PIECRUST EDGING
Pick up 3 sts on a 3 prong tool and hang them on 3 ndls. K 8 rws with carriage set to knit one direction and slip in the other direction. Use your hand as the weight. Pick up the next 3 sts and hang then on top of the first sts. Repeat until you are completely around the piece. To finish k 8 rws of the last pick up and rehang on the first 3 st group. Bind off.

IDIOT’S DELIGHT #1
E-wrap CO 7 needles in the following ndl setup, III 00 I 00 III. Put the carriage into hold position. K 2rws on all ndls. * Place the center ndl into hold position and K 6 rws. K 2 rws on all ndls (take out of hold position)* Repeat between * -* for desired length. Bind off. Use small claw weight to help the ndls knit off cleanly.

IDIOT’S DELIGHT #2
E-wrap cast on 6 ndls in the following ndl setup, II 00 I 00 I 00 II. Put carriage into hold position. K 2 rws on all ndl. *Place the 2 single ndls into hold position and knit 6 rws. K 2 rws on all ndls (take out of hold position). * Repeat between *-* for desired length. Bind off. Use a small claw weight to help the ndls knit off cleanly.

SHELL
E-wrap cast on 7 ndls in the following ndl setup, III 00 I 00 III. Put the carriage into hold position. K 2 rws on all ndls. * Place ndls 3 and 5 into hold postion. K 6 rws, then K 2 rws on all ndls (take out of hold position).* Repeat between *- * for desired length. Bind off. Use a small claw weight to help ndls knit off cleanly.

DOUBLE SHELL
E-wrap cast on 13 ndls in the following ndl setup, III 00 I 00 IIIII 00 I 00 III. Put the carriage inbto hold position. K 2 rws on all ndls. Place ndls 3 & 5 and 9 & 11 into hold position. K 4 rws, then knit 2 rws over all ndls (take out of hold position). Repeat between *-* for desired length. Bind off. Use a small claw weight to help the ndls knit off cleanly.

CROCHET CAST ON
Using a latch tool, crochet a st around each ndl. Multiple rws can be done two ways: by either crocheting a rw and kntting a rw, then crocheting the next rw either in front or behind the existing rw. It is harder to crochet in front of the existing rw, but if you crochet behind the rw the complete CO must be turned to be the right side.

HEART TRIM (See Sample Swatch)
E-wrap cast on 10 ndls. * K 10 rws. Pick up the 2nd st from each edge of the CO rw and hang on the center 2 ndls. * Repeat between * - * for desired length. Bind off. Use a small claw weight to help the ndls knit off cleanly.

LOOP TRIM
E-wrap CO 6 ndls. * Put the carriage into hold position. Place 3 ndls into hold position and K 10 rws on all ndls. K 10 rws on all ndls (take out of hold position). * Repeat between *-* for desired length. Bind off. Use your had as a weight on the loops or a small claw weight to help the ndls knit off cleanly.

DOUBLE LOOP
As above except alternate sides with the loops and only K 2 rws between the loops on all ndls.
